Bellaire, MI – Hemlock Public School District Transportation Director Carolyn Donoghue was recently honored as the Michigan Association of Pupil Transportation (MAPT) Director of the Year.
Superintendent Killingbeck said, “There is an old saying, give honor, where honor is due, and Carolyn Donoghue is most assuredly due the honor.”
Donoghue accepted the honors at the Annual MAPT Conference at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire, Michigan in front of a crowd filled with her cheering peers.
Board Vice-President Wesener said, “We are so proud of Carolyn. She has done a tremendous job as our transportation director and it is great to see her recognized as the leader we know her to be.”
The Michigan Association of Pupil Transportation selected Donoghue for her commitment to students, safety, organizational effectiveness, and efficiency, and the results her service has produced while the Transportation Director her at Hemlock Public School District.
