NSPRA Awards

Hemlock Public School District is proud to announce that it has been honored with six prestigious awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). These awards recognize excellence in publications, digital media, and public relations projects, underscoring the district's commitment to effective communication and engagement.

Superintendent Don Killingbeck expressed his pride, saying, "We are immensely proud to be recognized by the National School Public Relations Association for our team's outstanding communication efforts. Special recognition goes to our Communication Specialist, Joy McMillan, and our team for their exemplary work. These accolades reflect our team's creativity and impact in connecting, informing, and inspiring every member of our school family."

The 2024 NSPRA Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards program received a record number of entries this year, subjecting Hemlock's communications team to rigorous evaluation by school PR experts from across the country. After a thorough review and stringent criteria, Hemlock Public School District emerged as a standout, receiving recognition in multiple categories.

The NSPRA awards bestowed upon the district are as follows:
