Cause for Applause

Hemlock Public School District Board of Education regularly honors individuals or groups for outstanding work and /or contributions to student success. This past month was no different.

The Board of Education honored the Pep Club President and teacher Tammy Grandy in recognition of helping host and organize the annual Paw Ball, which will be held on March 14, 2020.

The Board also honored Director of Business Operations and Human Resources Anna Wamack in recognition of recently completing a Dale Carnegie leadership course.

Tammy and Anna graciously accepted the honor in the presence of support staff, teachers, administrators, students, and community members in attendance at the December meeting.

Superintendent Killingbeck, said, “This is one way we try to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our employees and students. I would encourage everyone to nominate someone who goes above and beyond for recognition.”

If you would like to nominate an individual or group for the Cause for Applause Award, forms are located on the district website or by visiting the central office located at 200 Wilson Street.
