Hemlock Public School District extends a heartfelt thank you to Scott Wylie, Owner and Designer at Morning Star Farms, for his generous contribution to the district's latest project at K.C. Ling Elementary. Scott graciously volunteered his expertise to design the landscape beds surrounding the new gymnasium at K.C. Ling Elementary, a gesture that has significantly enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the area.
Recognizing that the district was self-performing this project to save costs, Scott reached out and offered his services without charge. His design not only beautifies the school grounds but also exemplifies the community spirit that Hemlock is known for.
"We are incredibly grateful to Scott Wylie and Morning Star Farms for their generosity and support," said Dr. Don Killingbeck, Superintendent. "Scott's willingness to contribute his time and talent at no cost to the district speaks volumes about his commitment to our community. His beautiful landscape design has truly elevated the look of our new gymnasium, and we cannot thank him enough for his contribution."
Additionally, we are fortunate to have a fantastic group of custodians who skillfully executed this plan. Their hard work and dedication ensured that Scott’s vision came to life, making our new gymnasium an even more welcoming and beautiful space for students, staff, and visitors.
This collaboration is a shining example of how local businesses and individuals can come together to support educational initiatives, helping to create an enriching environment for students and staff alike.
A big shout out and thank you to Scott Wylie and Morning Star Farms for making a lasting impact on our district!
