holiday concert

As the doors of K.C. Ling Elementary reopen after a joyful holiday season, we are excited to welcome back our students, families, and staff for a new year filled with learning and growth. We hope your winter break was filled with special moments and opportunities to recharge for the exciting months ahead!

Before the break, our school community came together for the much-anticipated 1st - 4th Grade Christmas Concert, led by our talented music teacher, Ms. Kylie Hawkins. The students’ performances radiated the holiday spirit, showcasing their hard work and musical talents. From cheerful carols to festive choreography, it was a heartwarming reminder of the creativity and dedication of our students and staff. Thank you to all who attended and supported this memorable event!

As we embark on a new calendar year, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission: innovate, collaborate, and educate. Our goals for the remainder of the school year focus on continuing to implement creative teaching strategies that engage and inspire our students, strengthening partnerships between teachers, students, and families to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and delivering high-quality instruction that empowers every child to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Reflecting on the journey ahead, Principal Lori Gensch shared, "At K.C. Ling Elementary, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Together, as a school community, we will continue to foster curiosity, resilience, and kindness in our students as they work toward achieving their dreams."

We are eager to embrace the opportunities that 2025 will bring and look forward to celebrating the many achievements of our students and staff. Thank you for being a vital part of the K.C. Ling Elementary family, and let’s make this year one to remember!
