Hemlock Public School District welcomed a special guest reader to its elementary schools today. Dr. Erin Senkowski, Deputy Superintendent of Instruction from the Saginaw Intermediate School District (ISD), visited Hemlock Elementary and K.C. Ling Elementary to share some of her favorite books with the eager students of the Huskie Pack.
Dr. Senkowski engaged with students of various grade levels, captivating them with her storytelling and fostering a love of reading. Her visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to connect with a leader in education and experience the joy of books firsthand.
"We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Senkowski for taking the time to share her passion for reading with our students," said Superintendent Dr. Killingbeck. "Visits like these are invaluable in inspiring a lifelong love of literacy and demonstrating the importance of reading in education and beyond.
