Hemlock Kicks Off Appreciation Campaign!
Thank you to our Sponsors
The Hemlock Public School District in conjunction with the Hemlock Lions Club, Elementary/K.C. Ling PTO and Booster organizations helped welcome new staff members with welcome bags.
The welcome bags were stuffed with our Hemlock Huskie gear, coffee mug, candies, athletic passes, concession coupons, local restaurant coupons, and a special note from the organization sponsoring the bag.
In addition to bags to welcome new employees, the district also launched an appreciation campaign for current staff. Bus drivers were greeted with appreciation bags filled with similar items upon their return to the start of the school year.
Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, “We appreciate all of our members of the Huskie Pack. This gesture is a special way to welcome and continue to show appreciation for the dedication and hard work of those that dedicate so much of their lives to working on behalf of our students.”
The appreciation campaign is ongoing and will continue to work its way through the various departments of the school over the next couple of years. If you would like to help or donate items to go in the bags, please contact us by calling 989-642-5282, or dropping items off at central office at 200 Wilson Street, Hemlock, MI 48626
One new employee in a note said, “The welcome bag was so thoughtful – but the thing I have most appreciated is the welcoming environment I have found here.”
