Our Mental Health Practitioner Mrs. Perry and School Resource Officer Randy recently taught the 5th graders the importance of cyber safety and being kind to their peers today. The 5th grade class was engaged and demonstrated their knowledge about bullying and the dangers of social media, chat rooms, and online video games.
A huge ‘THANK YOU’ goes out to our dedicated staff who strive to keep our students healthy and safe, and ready for a great summer.

Hey huskies! There is an important vote on the ballot for the August 6th, 2024, election for the voters of the Hemlock Public School District.
All Michigan school districts are required to levy a non-homestead operating millage of 18 mills to receive their full foundation allowance.
If these millages are not renewed by Hemlock community voters, the school district will lose 2.6 million in operating revenue. This will necessitate substantial reductions in the educational program.

This week's #StaffSpotlight is on the lovely Lisa Little, a Paraprofessional working with our little huskies here at Hemlock Public School District.
We want you to get to know her a little better, so here are some fun facts you may not know about Mrs. Little:
• She could listen to Austin by Blake Shelton on repeat.
• As a child she wanted to be a teacher.
• What might surprise you to find out about her? That her youngest child will graduate from Hemlock Schools 40 years after she did.
• A quote she lives her life by is, "Rainbows always come out after a storm".
• Her favorite animal is the dragonfly.

Their innovation and creativity have truly set a high standard, showcasing remarkable problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
