Keith Green has nominated Kelly Netzley as our Staff Recognition Highlight this week. Mrs. Netzley is the Hemlock High School college and career advisor along with being the advisor for the Hemlock yearbook “The Huskie”.
Mrs. Netzley has been working diligently getting students ready for the next step in their lives whether it be in the workforce, military, trade school, or college.
Mrs. Netzley meets with each student individually to assist each of them with their desired future path. She has arranged and chaperoned college and career visits for many students. She has also established parent information nights to learn about the next step in their child’s future and FAFSA education nights.
“Mrs. Netzley has created a personal and professional relationship with our students. She encourages each student to apply for the colleges and attend career fairs to be prepared for their future. Last year, we had students applying for one college without looking at other institutions. This year students have been opening their eyes to the opportunities around them and are applying to multiple colleges and schools,” shared Principal Green.
