Hemlock High School students took part in mock interviews to help prepare for their future career endeavors. The interviews are part of the high school’s curriculum and requirements for graduation for their Business Systems and Technology course.
Teacher Dana Lockwood said, “I love to see the students excited, nervous, and willing to put forth so much effort to learn such a valuable skill. I'm so proud of them on the day of the mock interview. All of them take the process very seriously and enjoy going through the experience.”
The goal of the mock interviews is to ensure that students know how to develop resumes, dress appropriately, shake hands, and look people in the eye.
Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, “This program is wonderful in helping students be ready for their first job interview and helps make them think about what prospective employers are going to be looking for.
