Students in grades K-3 can participate in the First Lego League Junior in program.
This gives our students the opportunity to learn in teams about the engineering process through hands-on problem-solving.
Stephanie Dunton is one of the team’s mentors. She’s seen what students gain by being in First Lego League Junior.
“Through this program students develop critical thinking skills, solve real-world problems, and learn the value of perseverance,” she said.
At the end of every season, FLL Jr. teams set up a community showcase to display their models. They enjoy demonstrating what they learned to family members and friends and engaging them with fun STEM-related activities.
