Hopping into the weekend! #earlydismissal

We missed our Throwback Thursday post yesterday, so we will call this one Flashback Friday. Here’s Mr. Frick’s 4th grade class from ‘72-‘73! #FlashbackFriday

We hope everyone had a chance to talk to their child's teacher during parent teacher conferences! The parent teacher partnership is key to a successful school year. If you are looking to help your child at home, remember the most important thing you can do is to read. This chart shows the difference that 20 minutes of reading a night can make!

To our Veterans, Thank you for your example of sacrifice, service, and dedication to the nation and people you love. You are an inspiration to all of us.

Huskies "jump" into learning! #lilhuskies

There will be a change in tomorrow's breakfast (Weds, Nov. 10th) for Hemlock Elementary and K.C. Ling students. Instead of a whole grain poptart, students will be served a double chocolate oatmeal bar.

First grade students are observing the life cycle of a pumpkin beginning with a Jack O'Lantern. They will continue making observations each week to see how the pumpkin changes from now until the end of the school year. #STEMeveryday

A focal point of Hemlock's STEM and STEAM programs is to make sure that lessons are compelling, relatable, and fun for students! #STEMDay2021 #huskietastic #innovation

Today is National STEM/STEAM Day. There’s no way around it: children are significantly better off with strong science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics skills! Stay tuned as we show you how our HPSD students are involved in STEM activities every single day. #STEMday #education

PLEASE SHARE: November 9th we are hosting a FREE “Try Out The Bus” event for anyone that would be interested in a hands-on experience to see if they would like bus driving! Must have a valid driver’s license and be 21+. #SchoolBus #Share
