Reading Month-Kindergarten students read to Young 5 students! Read On!

Reading Month-Students and staff got into character at our Elementary School!

Students from Mrs. Tack’s class work together during indoor recess to build a Funny Straws house.

Today we welcomed best selling author, Jonathan Rand to Ling Elementary! His message for students was very clear, “Reading isn’t something you do. It’s a place you go!” 📚

All aboard the Huskie Express!

Mrs. Mulvaney and High School Student Leading Students will be participating in reading month at KC Ling Elementary today. They will be reading, "The Little Engine That Could," followed by a 5 minute ride on our HUSKIE EXPRESS train. Mrs. Mulvaney, SLS students, and Mrs.Gensch are looking forward to sharing the "We can do it" theme from the book, and our first event riding the Huskie Express. Thanks to all the staff who are supporting us to make this a memorable and successful experience for our students.

Robots, paint, a little art history, and kindergartners make for a fun day in STEAM at Hemlock Elementary.

After learning about the Brooklyn Bridge through reading "21 Elephants and Still Standing," our civil engineers at K.C. Ling took on the task of designing a bridge that will be able to hold 21 of our 3D printed elephants over a tub of water. Stay tuned to see the results! :)

Our 1st grade civil engineers drawing blueprints and sharing their ideas for the bridges that they will make during their next STEAM class.
