Congratulations to this week's PAWS award winners : (L to R) Kayleigh Atkins, Adam Cox, Kendall Fanning, and Morgan Walle.


The middle school cross country teams ran in the Tri Valley Conference Overall Championships. Finishing in 4th was Chloe Watson, good for first team All-Conference. Chloe is now tied for fastest all-time on our record board. Finishing in 5th place was Luke Zastrow, also making first team All-Conference.


As a wrap up to the soccer season, our 8th graders playing in a scrimmage against the High School JV boys and girls. It was the final game they will play in our Hemlock soccer league.

The Saginaw Bay Youth Orchestra will be hosting auditions Wednesday, January 2nd and Friday, January 4th. Students are encouraged to audition. The SBYO meets Sundays, from 2-5 at the Temple Theatre. Having fun learning about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) at the Delta College STEM Festival on Friday!

Great win for our 6th Grade Girls against St Elizabeth in Reese, their team had 3 very tall and very good 8th Graders but we came away with the win!!!

Student Council- there will be a meeting Wednesday, October 10th at the beginning of 6th hour in room 3. Please check in with your 6th hour teacher for attendance prior to coming to room 3. You will be discussing plans for the first dance.

7th Grade- Delta College S.T.E.M. field trip is this Friday. You will be leaving after announcements and returning in time for lunch.

MS Pom Pon- will be holding try-outs Monday, October 22nd - Friday, October 26th from 5:30-7:30pm in the middle school gym. In order to try-out, you MUST have completed the following:
1) Parents MUST register in FinalForms. See directions below if you have not already completed this step.
2) Athletes MUST register in FinalForms. See directions below if you have not already completed this step.
3) You generate the physical form out of Final Forms once your complete steps 1 & 2 above. Print the physical form and take it to the doctor’s office with you. YOU DO NOT take a blank form from the office. A valid physical MUST be on file with the Athletic Department (HS office). A valid physical is one done on or after April 15, 2018.

MS Girls Basketball- practice will begin on Monday, October 29th. 8th grade will be 3-4:30pm and 7th grade will be 4:30pm-6pm. In order to practice, you MUST have completed the following:
