It's #TeacherFeature Tuesday, and today we're featuring our fabulous Band Teacher, Charles Bicigo. He's been teaching 5th - 12th grade band here at Hemlock Public School District for 3 years.
Other than rocking the best man bun on staff, here are a few other things you may not know about Mr. Bicigo...
• If he could be any Disney character, he'd be Robin Williams' "Genie" from Aladdin, "because he's a major goofball and tries to make everyone happy!"
• His spirit animal is a Grizzly Bear
• The quote he lives his life by is: "The most important note you play is the next one"
• If he won the lottery and gave up teaching, he'd "Gig as much as possible, and maybe open up a Pho/Ramen Restaurant".

Elementary students had a great day with guest author and illustrator Ruth McNally Barshaw on Wednesday.
Known for her Ellie McDoodle books, Ruth talked about her experience with writing and journaling since childhood, and had students draw right along side her as she taught them how to make pictures out of words.
